Through the course of updates, and some AB testing, the piano for the app icon changed from a more artistic stylized version to a graphic that was more realistic.

It started with the splash screen and with the two words “pot smoking”. The research I did for psychedelic art showed gradients, rays, and clouds being used, so I used these elements in a more simplified way with the intent of making the app feel ‘magical’.
